Music's Balm

Music is a force of nature. It sings, beats, breathes, and lives. It breathes life into a boring situation. It is a balm for an injured soul, a recluse for those who just need a break from everyday troubles, or its a passion, an addiction that is never appeased, a need to make others smile, make their hearts sing, and souls soar.
Without music, life would be sad and dull. There would be no flow, no natural, beautiful way of life. The energy would be sucked out of the planet. Somehow everything would seem more hollow and ghostly. There wouldn't be any pick-me-ups, refuges, or a way to voice an unheard opinion or feeling.
Music gives a voice to those usually denied one. It forces people to hear about other's views, opinions, problems, and way of life. It helps stretch people's view and perspective to life, opens their eyes to other's problems and makes them see that not everyone has it easy.
Music heals. It cures ailments unseen to the naked eye, the ones encasing a damaged soul. It sets people free from troubling situations, gives them an escape, a place where they can go and hear themselves think and feel without pain or hate. A person that is depressed or feeling down can listen to an uplifting song and be happy again. Someone who has had a bad day at work can listen to some upbeat music and be ready to face the chaotic world again. There is a form of music for every and any situation. Music gets people through everything. Without it, there would be more pain, more death, and more sadness. Life would be bleak, lonely, and pointless.
